Electromagnetic Particle-In-Cell simulation including dielectric bodies
The space is not consist of vacuum, so is filled with ionized quasi
neutral gases called "plasma". When spacecrafts pass the plasma space
or stay there, ionized gases cause electromagnetic interacitons
with them and have harmful effects to them due to electric discharge
,for example noize or physical damages.
Moreover, spacecrafts are consist of not only metals but dielectrics.
In this study, we develop electromagnetic Particle-In-Cell
simulation codes including dielectric bodies on the computer,
to use the simulation code, KEMPO-3D.
